Dr. Dan Miller
Dr. Dan Miller grew up in Worland, WY and attended the University of Wyoming and Washington State University where he earned his degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1986. He then joined Asay Veterinary Clinic with Dr. Dave Asay and eventually purchased the clinic in 1991.
Dr. Dan enjoys the variety of mixed animal practice where he can treat a 1 ton bull in the morning then examine a kitten in the afternoon. His passion lies within the beef industry and providing herd health for ranches in 4 counties. He is a member of American Association of Bovine Practitioners, Academy of Veterinary Consultants, American Veterinary Medical Association, and Wyoming VMA.
Dr. Dan is an avid member of the Worland community. He is active in a number of organizations including Kiwanis, Ag Ambassadors, and Worland First Baptist Church. He spends his free time with his 2 children, Chelsey and Cameron along with grandson, Hudson. He is also passionate about classic cars and antique gas pumps
Dan has Hazel and Bricker. Hazel the cat has been in the family since 2011, and Bricker joined the family in 2015.
Dr. Amanda Thoet
Dr. Mandy Thoet joined the practice in 2008 after graduating veterinary school from Colorado State University. She enjoys the variety and challenges of mixed animal practice. Her passion is in the study of orthopedics, both canine and equine. She is a certified veterinary acupuncturist, a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, and currently holds office in the Wyoming VMA.
Dr. Mandy enjoys the small town atmosphere and kindness of the Worland community. She is involved in many adult recreation sports leagues and also enjoys the plethora of outdoor recreation available. She can be found hiking on the mountain or riding her paddleboard down the river with her dog, Tilly.
Mandy has several animals. Tilly, Cinch, Willie, and Natalie are her canine companions, and also the clinic's mascots. Squash and Bloosom are her barn cats. She recently adopted another cat named Mo. She also has many horses: Cooper, Robbie, Handsome, Dasher, Penny, Beggs, and Capi, and one bum calf named Ram Rod.
Annie joined the practice in 2008. She graduated from Northwest College in Animal Science with a specialty in Equine Training and Business. She is our equine dentist. She raises and trains Quarter Horses with her husband, Cole.
Annie has 4 dogs: Bubba, Coconut, Toots, and Monkey. She also has two cats B, and Buzz that she adopted. Annie has many horses, chickens, cows, and a goat named Ted.
Heidi joined the practice in 2013. She started out as a veterinary assistant, but now has become the full time office manager. She grew up in Powell, Wyoming and attended Northwest College. Heidi moved to Worland in 2010, and loves the small town.
She is married and has two girls Libby and Kylee. They enjoy many outdoor activities together like camping, fishing, and razor riding.
Heidi has three dogs, Maddie the brittany Spaniel, Jet the boykin brittany mix, and Tansy the bichon frise. They also have a rescue kitty named Sophia.
Shawna joined the staff in January 2017. She is married with two children Braiden and Talann. She went to vet tech school in Torrington and is certified in Brucellosis testng and A.I-ing. Her family enjoys being outdoors four wheeling, snowmobiling, camping and riding horses.
Shawna has three dogs, Lacey a english setter, Shyla a labrador and Josie a border collie/Aussie mix. She also has two cats, two fish and four head of horses.
